Macarons

  • What is it?

Macarons, or rather Parisian macarons, are made of two shells sandwiched together with a filling inside.

The shells are made out of meringue & almond.

  • What to expect?

We'll make macarons on an Italian meringue base recipe.

You’ll learn the method to make shells and get very precise instructions for later baking on your own.

You’ll also learn a lot about the type of fillings. We will make at least one ganache, a technique which you can use for other baking projects.

You’ll understand how to ensure a delicious tasting.

We will be able to make 2 to 3 fillings depending on how many of you are participating.

We'll only make one sort of shells.

“This class was exactly what I was looking for. Being a private class meant being able to ask very specific questions during the baking process with plenty of personalised attention. The other advantage was that by having it in my own house, I could see how best to use the items that I already own and where any potential gaps were, e.g. I needed to buy another set of scales that measures weight to the nearest gram. Laura was particularly great at keeping my son, daughter and her friend engaged throughout the course.”

— Shefali, took the private macarons class with daughter, son, friend & husband.

Amanda took the private macarons class with her family of 5.
